Hahnemann Birthday celebration has been organized successfully at
Nepal Homoeopathic College, Biratnagar (Nepal) . The two days
program held on the sweat memory of Founder of Homoeopathy Dr.
Samuel Hahnemann started with different events.
On the 1st day (9th April 2007)
in which students of the college had actively participated in game .
The days started with Volleyball competition, Caram competition and
Debate competition on the subject " Is homoeopathy a scientific
method of treatment" then Similarly Drama competition Later in Anta
Shari competition Quiz competitions Lastly in the Written contests
on the subject "Is Hahnemannian Homoeopathy relevant in modern era"
and winner was Sharan Maharjan.
Second Day (10th April 2007):
Celebration was started with sharshwati Vandana by the female
students. Program followed by Welcome speech of chief program
coordinator Dr. Kunal Bhattacharya. Then the Chief Guest Mr. Sita
Ram Dahal the chief of District Health Committee, Morang District
garlanded the photograph of Dr. Hahnemann, even other personalities
joined him including Chairman of the College Mr. Ashkaran Sancheti
, Managing Director Mr. Tarun Sancheti, Director Mrs. Jayshree
Sancheti, Acting Principal Dr. V.N.Shah, chief program coordinator
Dr. Kunal Bhattacharya , college staff and all students After that
memento presentation to the personality on the Dias was held which
was done by college students. Acting Principal of the college Dr.
V. N. Shah put forward few words about the life history of Dr.
Hahnemann, Chief Guest Mr. Sita Ram Dahal the chief of District
Health Committee, Morang District shared experiences, Managing
Director of the college Mr. Tarun Sancheti future plan of the
college.
The
winners of the different events of the 1st Days Awarded
include also the University toppers were Vinood Kumar Sharma from 2
nd year , Rajendra Manandhar from 3rd year and
Sushil Devkota from 4th year . Members of coordination
committee including Parmila Khadka , Manisha Parajuli, Shakuntala
Roy, Minraj Bhusal , Kumar Raju and Sushil Devkota were rewarded
with Appreciation Certificate.
The
Chief Coordinator of the program was Dr. Kunal Bhattacharya, Drama
coordinator was Dr. R.K.Yadav And Sports coordinator was Dr. Swarup
Dutta. Serbia
Many happenings took place in Serbia during WHAW. First of all we
began the WHAW with celebrating Hahnemann's birthday on 10.april in
our Society for classical homeopathy “Hahnemann” in Novi Sad.
We sent out emails
informing a lot of people about WHAW. From 11-16th April
many interesting lectures were held for the public in two main
cities of the country. The topics were “Homeopathy for women”,
“Homeopathy in pregnancy”, “Homeopathy in childbirth”, “Allergies, a
more female aspect in homeopathy”. We gave free treatment for women
in our Society during the week and promoted homeopathy through
newspaper interviews and articles and organized TV interviews on
local TV to promote WHAW.
We also wore green awareness ribbons during
WHAW and handed out WHA leaflets translated and printed in our
language.
Let the world be a better place thanks to homeopathy!
